Bridget Collier
Physical Therapist (PT, DPT, OCS, CMTPT/DN)
Bridget Collier is a licensed Physical Therapist at Herlong Sports Physical Therapy, treating patients out of our Clarksville, MD and Marriottsville, MD locations.
A native of Stamford, Connecticut, Bridget attended the Academy of Information Technology and Engineering for high school, while competing on the swim team for Westhill High School.
Bridget graduated Magna Cum Laude from High Point University with a B.S. in Exercise Science. She then earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from the University of Maryland Baltimore.
Growing up, Bridget witnessed the profound impact that healthcare providers can have on patients through her mother's battle with ALS. This experience, coupled with her own orthopedic injuries and positive physical therapy experiences, motivated her to pursue a career where she could build strong relationships with her patients and contribute positively to their lives.
Bridget takes pride in educating patients about body movements and helping them strengthen their bodies to perform daily activities and sports with ease and less pain.
Currently residing in Columbia, MD, Bridget enjoys taking weekend trips to visit family in Connecticut and North Carolina and traveling with friends. Bridget loves the water, previously working as a beach lifeguard and swim instructor – in fact, she still teaches private swim lessons today.
