COMMON BODY PARTS INJURED AMONG ATHLETES
Injury Treatment at Herlong Sports Physical Therapy
At Herlong Sports Physical Therapy, we believe that it is imperative that the athlete is able to meet the demands of their sport to return as safely and effectively as possible. We don’t see our work as complete until you are back to complete, 100% performance – equivalent to or greater than where you were before your injury occurred. This means we will take you through lifting, sprinting, jumping, cutting, taking/giving contact over the course of your rehab process (depending on the severity of your injury).
You will be objectively assessed to quantify your physical capabilities to ensure that you are returning to sport with requisite capacities to meet the demands of your sport to compete at a high-level, while minimizing the risk of reinjury. Rehabilitation may be tough at times; however, the sports rehab environment should be fun too! That’s why our treatment centers are inside of high-energy athletic training complexes where athletes can feel right at home.
