Meet Michele Belzner

MICHELE BELZNER

BILLING ADMINISTRATOR

Michele Belzner is the Billing Administrator at Herlong Sports Physical Therapy, where she works directly with clients on any billing needs during and after treatment. A native of Baltimore, Maryland, Michele graduated from Western High School where she participated in the Aerobics Dance Club and Modern Dance Club. She later attended Essex Community College, completing the school’s Medical Billing Program. She now teaches herself, serving as an adjunct professor in the Community College of Baltimore County where she teaches in the Health and Human Services Department for the Certified Medical Administrative Assistant Program. Michele was inspired to pursue a career in the medical field after her husband was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Knowing that medical problems can often herald a difficult time for patients and their families, Michele wanted to help patients understand their benefits while also advocating on their behalf. Michele lives in Joppatowne, MD with her husband and the oldest of her four children. She loves spending time with both her immediate and extended family. When she’s not working she loves to stay active through pilates, yoga, walking, kayaking, and spending time outside. She has a black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
