Nick Rose
Physical Therapist (PT, DPT)
Nick Rose grew up in Ellicott City, MD, where years of playing soccer—and enduring frequent injuries—first sparked his interest in physical therapy. After graduating from Mount Hebron High School, he earned a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Maryland, College Park. His personal experience with rehab fueled his passion for exercise science and his drive to help others avoid the same setbacks he faced as an athlete.
Nick is a certified personal trainer and has been training clients since 2020. He joined Herlong Sports Physical Therapy in 2025 after completing a clinical rotation and receiving care at the clinic himself. “I’d call my injury a blessing in disguise,” he says. “Seeing HSPT from both sides—patient and student—confirmed that this was the place I wanted to start my career.”
Nick brings a personalized, athlete-focused approach to every session and thrives on helping patients hit major recovery milestones. He hopes to grow within the company and eventually develop a program tailored to soccer players.
When Nick's not in the clinic, you’ll find him working out, hiking or playing pickleball—which he hopes to take on competitively.
